Alexander Fitzgerald is Founder & CEO of Isembard and is obsessed with rebuilding the West's industrial base. He previously worked in government, founded and sold a technology business, and served in the military, where he saw that national security problems are really manufacturing problems. In 2024 he founded Isembard: a new kind of manufacturing company for critical industries, making products for defence, aerospace, energy and robotics while building MasonOS, the software and intelligence layer for manufacturing. The world lacks high-quality manufacturing capacity — supply chains are fragile and industrial skills are ageing. Isembard combines software, advanced manufacturing and franchising to scale a distributed network of factories, forging industrial acceleration for the West.
