Bjorn is a seasoned entrepreneur who have founded three energy infrastructure companies raising more than a billion USD in the process. Photoncycle his current scale up, aims to revolutionize distributed energy through introducing long term storage. The idea was conceptualised while Bjorn was a visiting fellow at MIT . Photoncycle offers energy as a service to households throughout the year by providing solar PV connected to the Photoncycle box which contains a system that converts and stores up to 10,000 kWh of surplus PV generation from summer to winter. The concept has received worldwide attention and significant consumer traction and is being rolled out in Norway, Denmark and other European countries.
