Callum Adamson is the co-founder and CEO of Applied Computing, the London company building energy's foundation model. Its product, Orbital, is the first foundation model built specifically for energy operations, combining physics-grounded intelligence with models spanning chemical engineering, time-series forecasting and language to deliver real-time optimisation operators can trust, from refineries and petrochemical plants to LNG, wind and hydro. Callum is an Entrepreneur in Residence at Imperial College London, and previously founded Distributed, the UK on-demand engineering teams company. He co-founded it in 2017, building elastic tech teams for enterprise clients including Capita, Sytner Group and RBS, and exited in 2021.
