Meetings FAQ

What is the Meeting Tool?

Meeting Tool gives you access to the most extensive, self-submitted database on startups and investors out there.

How to set up my Slush Profile in the Meeting Tool?

Join or create a company profile on the Slush Platform. Being listed as part of your company makes it much easier to land meetings.

Fully complete both your personal and company profile. This is the first thing others see after you send a meeting request.

How do I sync my own calendar with the Slush calendar?

Log in to the Slush Platform, click My Agenda in the left sidebar, and select the Sync Calendar button. From there, choose either Outlook or Google to sync your calendar.

Who can see my profile in the Meeting Tool—and what do they see?

Your profile is visible to all Slush 2025 attendees. Some info stays private: your pitch deck and any confidential financial or team details are only visible to investors on the Slush Platform.

You can also set your profile to not visible here.

How many meeting requests can I send?

You can send up to 50 requests at once. As requests get accepted or declined, or if you cancel some, you’ll be able to send more.

What is the Meeting Area? Where can I have my meetings?

The Meeting Area is a seated area inside the Slush venue, reserved for pre-booked meetings. It includes a record number of tables to host 25,000+ meetings during the event days.

Each meeting in the area has a dedicated table for 25 minutes. When you arrive, volunteers will help you find your table. You’ll also find drinks, and snacks to keep you fueled between back-to-back meetings.

You’re free to meet outside the Meeting Area too. Here are your options:

  • Investor Lounges share an entrance with the Meeting Area on the 2nd floor (XL Lounges on the 3rd floor)
  • Startup Booths, Partner Pods, and Partner Booths located inside the venue
  • Choose yourself: send a meeting request without picking a location; after confirming the time in the Meeting Tool, suggest a spot in the chat
  • Investor Day & Founders Day (Nov 18) if you and your meeting partners are both attending, these appear as suggested location in the tool
Where can I have a meeting with someone I just met?

Head straight to the entrance of the Meeting Area. In the Meeting Help Desk, our amazing volunteers will guide you to an empty table so you can dive right in.

Also, use cafés and coworking spaces around the venue for work or ad hoc meetings.

When will I know my table number?

Your table number will be assigned right before the event, so no need to stress about it yet. You’ll see it in the Meeting Tool once it’s available.

How many people can join a meeting?

Each meeting table seats up to four people.

How long is a meeting?

25 minutes. You’ll have a 5-minute break before the next one starts.

Do the proposed slots show as busy when a person tries to schedule you?

No. Meeting slots only show as busy if there’s an overlapping accepted meeting.

Here’s how it works in practice:

Founder A sends meeting requests to Investor A and Investor B with the same proposed slots (say 8:15–8:40 AM on Day 1 and Day 2).

  • Investor A accepts the Day 1 slot.
  • Investor B now only sees Day 2 as available—Day 1 shows as unavailable.
