Fabian Wesemann is Co-Founder & CEO of Afori, the AI-native insurance brokerage on a mission to insure every human with the right product at the right time. In 2015 he co-founded wefox, helping scale it into one of Europe's most valuable insurtechs, reaching a $4.5B valuation, 2M+ customers and nearly €1bn in revenues. In 2025 he teamed up again with wefox's founding CTO, Sergi Baños, to build Afori, backed by General Catalyst alongside angels including Mustafa Suleyman (Microsoft AI) and Alex Rinke (Celonis). Afori's AI agents run the back office with humans in the loop where judgment matters, giving brokers back four hours a day. It turns that time into revenue by finding coverage gaps in a broker's portfolio and running the campaigns that close them.
