Jan Oberhauser, founder and CEO of n8n, grew up in the Allgäu region of southern Germany and taught himself to code at 14. He spent the next decade in VFX studios across three continents, running up against the same problem wherever he went: the tools to connect systems and automate repetitive workflows were either too rigid, too expensive, or simply didn't exist. So, in 2019, he founded n8n. Today, n8n serves 1.7 million monthly active developers and builders, along with more than 1,400 enterprise customers including SAP, Mercedes-Benz and Vodafone.
