Jean-Charles Samuelian is the co-founder and CEO of Alan, the vertically integrated prevention insurance. He founded Alan to fundamentally rethink how health systems work, turning insurance into a true well-being partner. Today, Alan serves over 1.1 million members across Europe and Canada, generating €800M in ARR with 50%+ growth year-over-year. Jean-Charles is also a co-founder and board member of Mistral AI. Before Alan, he co-founded Expliseat, reducing economy airplane seat weight to just 5 kg. He authored two books on corporate culture and health systems, and has been recognized with the Chevalier of the National Order of Merit and two Montgolfier Prizes. He holds degrees from École des Ponts ParisTech, an MBA from Collège des Ingénieurs and is a member of the Institute of Actuaries.
