Saurabh Kapoor is the founder and CEO of Metafuels, the Swiss-based aviation technology company bringing synthetic aviation fuel to market at commercial scale. Its methanol-to-jet technology, aerobrew, converts renewable methanol into drop-in jet fuel with ultra-high carbon efficiency, delivering up to 90 percent lower lifecycle emissions than fossil kerosene while remaining fully compatible with existing aircraft, engines and airport infrastructure. With a demonstration plant at the Paul Scherrer Institute and Turbe, its first commercial e-SAF facility, advancing in the Port of Rotterdam, Metafuels recently closed a $24 million round led by UVC Partners to move from breakthrough technology to industrial deployment.
