Seoho Jung is co-founder & CEO of Chiral, a Swiss nanotechnology company producing post-silicon semiconductors with nanomaterials. He started working on carbon nanotube-based electronics at 16 and co-authored his first paper at 19, before earning a BS from UC Berkeley and an MS and PhD from ETH Zurich. He founded Chiral in 2023. As silicon approaches its physical limits, the industry is turning to nanomaterials like carbon nanotubes and TMDs — reflected in the roadmaps of TSMC and others — yet these have largely stayed in the lab. Chiral is changing that, having built and now deploying the industry's first wafer-scale system for carbon nanotube chips. Its mission: to be the ASML of the post-silicon era.
