Stef van Grieken is Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Cradle, which builds the AI-driven protein engineering platform used by leading pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and bio-industrial companies to accelerate the discovery and development of new medicines and sustainable materials. Prior to founding Cradle, Stef held leadership roles at Google Research & Machine Intelligence and worked across Google X, Google Maps and Android. He was named a Founders Forum Rising Star and the University of Groningen’s Alumnus of the Year in 2024.
