Why Join Slush 2025 as an Investor

Spot unicorns, co-invest with VCs or just fundraise from the world's top LPs.

Why join Slush as an Investor? We tried narrowing it down for you. The ROI of Slush is clear to us, but let us explain.

Every November, the world’s leading founders, investors, and startup operators land in Helsinki for Slush. It’s where the next generation of unicorns takes their first steps and where the top investors in Europe and beyond gather to meet them.

For investors, Slush is not just another conference. It’s three full days of highly curated deal flow, LP introductions, peer networking, and access to the people shaping the future of tech. Whether you’re scouting for the next Lovable or looking to connect with the best VCs and LPs, Slush is built to make it happen.

Here’s five reasons why you should be here:

1. BUILD YOUR UNICORN PIPELINE

“We met Aiven for the first time at Slush in 2019, and the first meeting we ever had with Pigment was also here,” Eric Liaw (IVP).

Every November, the 6,000 most promising founders from Europe and the US descend on Helsinki for Slush. For two days, the entire startup ecosystem is in one place. And so is your next unicorn.

Who came in their early days?

  • Lovable – $2B valuation.
  • Northvolt – $12.0B valuation.
  • Wise – $9.0B valuation.
  • Bolt – $8.1B valuation.
  • Wolt – $8.1B valuation.
  • Aiven – $3.0B valuation.
  • Pleo – $2.3B valuation.
  • Kahoot – $1.7B valuation.
  • Pigment – $1.0B valuation.

We bet that you wish you would not have missed them. That’s why, to maximize your chances, we have several opportunities for you to meet them. First, Slush will host over 20,000 one-on-one meetings throughout Nov 19-20.

Secondly, you will gain access to our top-class Meeting Tool where you can book meetings with all founders & operators coming to Slush.

Thirdly, you can host an intimate Investor Office Hours session for up to 70 founders of your choice.

Lastly, you can book an exclusive Investor Lounge to have the comfort of meeting as many founders as you wish.

2. MEET WITH THE BEST-IN-CLASS VCs

“There are very few opportunities to meet such high-quality people,” Corinne Riley (Greylock).

Let’s take a quick look at some of the VCs that have already confirmed their presence at Slush 2025.

a16z, Accel, Creandum, General Catalyst, Hummingbird Ventures, ICONIQ, Index, Khosla Ventures, Kleiner Perkins, Lightspeed, LocalGlobe, NEA, Northzone, Redpoint, Seedcamp, Sequoia, USV…

These are only a few of the highly-regarded names as we could go on and on. Do you wonder who usually represents VCs? Over 70% of all VC attendees are partner-level investors, so Slush is a perfect environment to network with the fund heads.

At Slush, we align calendars from all over the world so that, for two days, the entire global venture ecosystem can meet in one place, at one time. This year, 23% of all VCs are coming from the UK, 22% from the Nordics, 16% from the DACH region, and 16% from the US.

Pssst…expect a bunch of Midas List investors.

3. FUNDRAISE FROM TOP LPs

“Events like Slush allow me to get a lot of meetings in a short order,” Tony Xu (Doordash).

We have already established that Slush welcomes the best founders and VCs in the world, but there is one critical group missing—LPs. Right, at Slush we also welcome Limited Partners. To ensure the highest quality of LPs, we keep the group’s size limited, following our principle of “relevance over scale”.

Surprised? We hope the names of LPs that attended in 2024 will amaze you even more.

  • Princeton, Wellcome Trust, UVIMCO, Top Tier, Adams Street, StepStone, LGT, Mubadala, Temasek, Ford Foundation, KIRKBI, and Oxford University Endowment.

For GPs, there are two main opportunities to connect with LPs. First, at Investor Day on November 18, we host a dedicated LP–GP Matchmaking Session designed to facilitate focused, high-value introductions. Then, during November 19–20, you can use our Meeting Tool to arrange one-on-one conversations with LPs throughout the main event.

4. ATTEND THE LARGEST GATHERING OF VENTURE AT SLUSH—INVESTOR DAY

For Investors, Slush is a three day event. While Slush takes place on Nov 19-20, we will have a set of special events happening already on Nov 18. The jewel in the crown is our legendary Investor Day that will host 2,000+ investors in a newly renovated and an iconic venue—Finlandia Hall.

You might have heard that Investor Day is the largest gathering of venture at Slush, and in Europe. It’s a full day of high-quality, investor-only conversations. No startups, no media—just the most influential people in European VC under one roof.

So why come early? Because Investor Day is built to help you make the most of every minute. Across five hours, you can catch seven stage talks, join 36 roundtable discussions, schedule one-on-one meetings at 75 tables, take part in LP–GP matchmaking, and connect in spontaneous networking areas, food courts, and bars.

This is where the real conversations, and many of the best deals, begin.

5. NETWORK IN A HIGHLY-CURATED AND RELAXED SETTING

However, our Investor Day is not the only event running outside of the main event. In fact, during the Slush week 600+ will take place in Helsinki: ranging various topics such as climate tech, AI, gaming, and deep tech, to name a few. It doesn’t matter what your investment thesis is, you will find side events to interact with like-minded people.

If you prefer a more relaxed setting, we have you covered there too. The iconic Sauna & Ice Dipping at Allas Sea Pool returns this year, along with countless breakfasts, lunches, dinners, and cocktail parties designed to make networking feel natural.

As our friend from the Accel team put it:

“It takes 20hrs to get here from San Francisco, but it’s absolutely worth it.”Rich Wong, Accel

Slush sells out every year — often by mid-October. Don’t be the one hearing about it after the fact. Secure your tickets here.

See you in Nov!
