Christian Hecker co-founded Trade Republic in 2015. Together with his team, Christian scaled Trade Republic to Europe's largest savings platform and raised US$1.3BN led by investors such as Sequoia, Accel, Founders Fund or OTPP. Previously, Christian worked in Bank of America Merrill Lynch’s Investment Banking department. He was involved in numerous capital market transactions in the finance and technology sector. Christian holds bachelor’s degrees in Philosophy and Business Administration from Ludwig Maximilians Universtät Munich.
