Ahti Heinla is Starship Technologies’ CEO and co-founder. A founding engineer and Chief Technical Architect at Skype, Ahti set up Starship in 2014 with fellow Skype co-founder Janus Friis. Ahti has always been interested in technology and innovation. His parents were both computer programmers who taught him to code at an early age. He designed his first computer program at the age of 10 and says that programming is “a way of life for me.” Now at the helm of Starship, Ahti is revolutionising the world of last-mile logistics through low-carbon, autonomous robot delivery.
