Alex Ferrara led the opening of BVP's London office in 2021 and currently leads Bessemer's European efforts. He primarily focuses on defence tech and AI. Alex joined Bessemer in 2005. As well as being an Investor in The Exploration Company and Auterion, he also led Shopify’s Series A, Pipedrive’s Series A, and has backed a range of successful cybersecurity and B2B cloud startups.
