Aura Salla is a Member of the European Parliament focused on building a more competitive, innovative, and resilient Europe. She works on tech policy, the single market, and economic growth, advocating for less EU regulation - especially in the tech sector - and stronger internal markets that help companies take risks and scale. A strong voice for European tech sovereignty, she believes Europe’s prosperity depends on its ability to lead in digital innovation. Before joining the European Parliament, Aura served in the Finnish Parliament, led EU Affairs and Public Policy at Meta, and worked in the European Commission for Vice President Jyrki Katainen. She holds a PhD in Political Science, and serves as rapporteur for the InvestEU program and the Defence Readiness Omnibus.
