Dr Gideon Schwich is the Co-founder and Co-CEO of cylib, which he established in 2022 alongside his co-founders Dr Lilian Schwich (Co-CEO) and Paul Sabarny (Chief of Special Operations). In his role, he drives cylib's strategic growth, financing and fundraising, people and operations. The company is building an industrial battery recycling facility at CHEMPARK Dormagen, designed to process 30,000 tonnes of EV batteries annually from 2027. With his PhD in Production Engineering and sustainability consulting experience at Accenture as Lead Sustainability, he combines his technical understanding with his commercial and business acumen to enable European resilience through cylib’s proprietary raw materials.
