Laura Connell is a Senior Partner at Atomico, the founder-built European venture capital firm. She leads the investment team and focuses on growth stage investments, working with founders from the early scale-up stage through to the public markets. Laura has held roles as an Investor at the global tech hedge fund Marcho Partners and VC, Balderton Capital. She previously worked in Investment Management and subsequently in M&A at Goldman Sachs. Laura was previously an Assistant Researcher in the Brain Sciences Team at Imperial College, a Fulbright Scholar at Harvard Business School, and a Sir William Paddy Scholar at the University of Oxford where she read Philosophy and Economics (PPE).
