Marianne Vikkula is the Head of Wolt, the Helsinki-based technology company with a mission to bring joy, simplicity and earnings to the neighborhoods of the world. Wolt develops a local commerce platform that connects people looking to order food, groceries, and other goods with people interested in selling and delivering them. Wolt was founded in 2014 and joined forces with DoorDash in 2022. Marianne joined Wolt in 2018, and under her leadership the company has expanded from 6 to 30+ countries across EMEA today; as well as launched Wolt Market, Ads and other product lines. Marianne leads a cross-functional team of over 15 000 people. Prior to Wolt, Marianne was the CEO of Slush where she played a key role in growing Slush into one of the leading tech and investor events.
