Moritz is a senior partner and the head of gaming & interactive media at Lightspeed, a globally leading VC firm with 13 offices, more than $29 billion in assets under management, and over 200 exits across the U.S., Europe, and Asia. In 2023 and 2024, founders selected Lightspeed as the #1 lead investor in the gaming industry. Previously, he was a partner and management team member at BITKRAFT, where he helped scale the firm to $850 million in AUM, and a Vice President at Goldman Sachs, where he founded and led the firm’s gaming practice. A lifelong gamer, Moritz spent his teenage years competitively playing Blizzard’s Diablo II, culminating in a global #1 ranking among over 12 million players in 2003.
