Dr. Suvi Haimi is the CEO and Co-founder of a software company Ovido, which is helping manufacturers and brands of all sizes manage product data. The AI-powered platform enables faster compliance, better decision-making, and stronger partnerships across the value chain. Suvi is also the Chairwoman and Co-Founder of Sulapac Ltd, an award-winning material innovation company on a vision becoming the new standard for sustainable materials replacing plastic.
She has MSc degree in Biochemistry (2006) and PhD degree in Medical Biomaterials (2008) from the University of Tampere, Finland. She is a passionate leader and an ambassador of circular bioeconomy. She became an entrepreneur because she wanted to use her expertise to solve the plastic waste problem: Sulapac materials are recyclable and designed to cut CO2 emissions and eliminate microplastic pollution. Ovido is looking the same problem from data and digitalization perspective and helping companies to make sustainable and profitable products in scale.
