Elias Almqvist, Co-founder & CEO of Exa Laboratories (YC S24), is a self-taught engineer since age 9. He studied CS and CE at Chalmers University, where he contributed to aerospace projects and worked part-time as an embedded software engineer at an IoT company.

Elias dropped out in his second year to found Exa to accelerate scientific discovery and advance the human technological evolution through AI innovation and sustainable computing.
