Christian’s career has taken him across opposite sides of the venture capital industry: from founding companies to investing in them. Following stations at a VC company and leading positions in two start-up companies, Christian went on to start his own entrepreneurial journey – co-founding Swoodoo in 2007. As CEO, he led the company to become Germany’s market leader in just four years. Leading the sale of Swoodoo to US market leader KAYAK, Christian was involved in the successful IPO on the NASDAQ and subsequent sale of the company to Priceline (now Booking Holdings) for $2 billion. It was then a natural step for Christian to move to the investment side as a General Partner at HV Capital. At HV Capital, Christian supports companies such as Enpal, Quantum Systems, Tourlane, Zencargo, Flip and Holidu.
