Fredrik Cassel is a General Partner at Creandum, one of Europe’s most experienced investors and one of the most trusted advisors to the Creandum portfolio. Fredrik was an early backer of several companies that have grown to dominate their respective markets, such as Spotify, Depop, Kahoot!, KRY / LIVI, and Virta Health. Focused on B2B and B2C companies disrupting large markets, often with a product-first approach, he leads or has led Creandum’s work with among others Lindus Health, Scarlet, Craft.do, Shapr3D, Xeneta, Cint (sold to Nordic Capital), Videoplaza (Ooyala), 13th Lab (Facebook) and Autobutler (PSA Group). Before Fredrik joined Creandum, he ran the largest online search service in the Nordics at Scandinavia Online. He has a degree in engineering physics from the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm and is a Kauffman Fellow. Fredrik has made regular appearances on the European and global MIDAS List.
