Harald Mix is the Founder and CEO of Altor Equity Partners, a private equity fund focused on investing in and developing medium-sized companies in Northern Europe. He is also the Chairman and Co-Founder of Vargas Holding, an investment firm and impact company builder concentrated on climate transition. Vargas has co-founded prominent companies such as Polarium, Northvolt, H2 Green Steel, Aira, and Syre.

Before founding Altor in 2003, Mix co-founded and served as deputy CEO of IK Investment Partners, focusing on private equity investments in the Nordic region. His prior experience includes roles in the principal investment group at The First Boston Corporation and at Booz Allen & Hamilton. Mix serves on several boards, including those of H2 Green Steel, Aira, Carnegie Investment Bank, and Kinnevik.
