Markus Villig is the founder and CEO of Bolt.

Markus founded Bolt in 2013 at the age of 19. Being frustrated by the outdated taxi industry, he built the first version of ride-hailing software himself and launched Bolt with 50 drivers he had personally recruited on the streets of Tallinn.

Markus is the youngest founder of a billion-dollar company in Europe and has been featured as the youngest tech CEO in Forbes Europe 30 under 30 list.

When Markus is not working, he enjoys reading, hiking and playing chess. He doesn’t have a driving licence.
