Mati Staniszewski is the Co-founder and CEO of ElevenLabs. He started the company in 2022 with Piotr Dabkowski. Childhood friends, Mati & Piotr used to watch movies together in Poland, where they grew up. After going on to both build careers in technology, and inspired by the “poor” dubbing of American movies they watched growing up, they revisited the idea and set about designing a platform that could eliminate the linguistic barriers of content. Prior to starting ElevenLabs, Mati worked at Palantir and BlackRock and received a degree in Mathematics from Imperial College.
