Co-founder & CEO of Improvin’, Niklas Wallsargård, is a second-time founder with years of experience in the agri-food industry. Before Improvin’, Niklas scaled Nordic’s largest grain trading marketplace Skira.
Improvin’ was founded in 2022 to solve one of the largest problems that the world faces: how to produce more food, more sustainably, at the same time. Niklas and his co-founder approached this problem via the area with the greatest impact: primary production, which accounts for over 70% of the global food industry’s emissions.
Today, Improvin’ provides companies such as Oatly, AAK, and The Absolut Group with the digital infrastructure for understanding their supply chain sustainability and enabling them to drive climate-positive change together with their suppliers and farmers.
Niklas talks about cross-supply chain collaboration within the food industry and how food and beverage manufacturers can leverage smart technology and field-level primary data to achieve considerable greenhouse gas emission reductions in their value chains.
